Alderney Week is underway and Cowboys and Aliens is the theme. A new team may be organising the event but the old classics are still on the agenda.
Alderney holds first ever colour party
The first ever colour party has been held in Alderney.
The event is based on the Hindu spring festival of Holi and sees people throw coloured powdered paint at each other.
Hundreds of residents and visitors took part in the fun at Corporation Quarry yesterday as part of Alderney week.
As they entered they were all given ‘I love Alderney Week’ white T-shirts and three packs of coloured powdered paint, before being invited to set them off over each other!
The week of activities continues over the weekend.
