Tennis: Channel Islanders into tennis singles semi-finals

Five Channel Islanders are into the singles semi-finals of the tennis at the Caesarean Club.

For the men, number one seed, Jersey's Scott Clayton, will play fellow Jerseyman Stuart Parker after Clayton beat Guernsey's Dom McLuskey in the last eight.

Sarnian, Patrick Ogier, is also into the last four where he will face the Isle of Man's Billy Harris, the number two seed and singles winner from Bermuda 2013.

In the women's singles, Guernsey's Ella Taylor made light work of Jersey's Eva Hurst in the quarter-finals, progressing without dropping a game. She will face number one seed Tzvetelina Havren, of Gotland, in her semi-final.

Caesarean, Natasha Forrest, is also into the last four where she will play Reegan Greenwood of the Isle of Wight.
