More details have emerged from Tuesday evening's bus crash at Liberation Station.

Several passengers suffered minor injuries and shock, one passenger in the most vulnerable seat was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Jersey Fire and Rescue say the impact was sufficient to peel back a portion of the vehicles roof to the first row of seating which were occupied.

Although we had a very small part to play in this operation, this was a really impressive response to a major event that would have tested other much larger communities, combined with the good fortune of so few injuries in a crash that could easily have been so much worse, leaves us all feeling very pleased with the outcome.
