Bus passenger describes terrifying moment of impact

A bus passenger has described the terrifying moment a double decker bus crashed into Liberation Station last night.

Paul Kelly was sitting at the front of the vehicle with his two sons when he heard a loud bang and passengers realised the bus had hit the corner of a building.

Four people were injured as a result of the accident, one was taken to hospital after glass from the top deck window was sprayed across passengers.

The fire service say the impact was enough to peel back part of the roof at the front of the bus.

An investigation is currently underway.

My two sons were sitting at the front and suddenly there was a loud bang and we realised that the bus had hit the corner of the building and shattered glass everywhere, it's quite shocking really but thankfully my two sons were okay, they were my main concern because they were right in front of me.
