The switch on of St Helier's Christmas lights takes place tonight, with 'Santa's Express Train Parade' starting at Millennium Town Park at 5:30pm. The parade will then progress through town to the Weighbridge.
Local school choirs will be singing their favourite festive songs adding some special magic to the event.
Santa's Parade will be at the Royal Square at 6pm for the 'Grand Christmas Light Switch On', with a number of other surprises and entertainment along the way.
The parade will finish at the Weighbridge at around 6.30pm, where you can meet Santa in his grotto.
The weekend event coincides with International Pride Month and the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
The scheme has been backed by the island's Lieutenant-Governor, and is the first of its kind in the Channel Islands.
