Deputy Anne Pryke will have competition from two other candidates for the role of Housing Minister.
The Chief Minister's nomination will face competition from Deputy John Le Fondre and Deputy Montfort Tadier.
Deputy Tadier had earlier stood for the role of Education, Sport & Culture Minister but was beaten by Deputy Rob Bryans.
The candidates will begin giving their speeches to the States when they return from lunch at 1:30pm.
