Channel Smoking

Politicians have overwhelmingly voted to ban the importation, sale and supply of disposable vapes in Guernsey due to health concerns.

Guernsey politicians want tougher laws on smoking and vaping to create a healthier environment for children after reports those as young as 11 are using them.

The States is aiming to reduce the number of smokers to less than 10% by 2028 - it was 13% the last time the figures were calculated in 2018.
