Four Essex men have travelled to the island to watch the sporting action.

And despite having no connection with the Welsh island of Anglesey they're putting on a rowdy show of support for their chosen team.

Tennis: Guernsey men's team into take bronze after Isle of Man defeat

Guernsey's men's tennis team have been beaten 2-1 by the Isle of Man in today's semi-final to put an end to a possible final against Jersey.

Sarnian Peter Ogier was beaten by Billy Harris in straight sets in the opening rubber before Dominic McLuskey responded for the Channel Island team with a straight sets victory of his own.

That forced a deciding doubles rubber to see who would progress to face Jersey in the final but the Isle of Man duo proved too strong, claiming another straight sets victory.

Beach volleyball: Jersey pair continue to improve in win over Bermuda

Jersey women's beach volleyball team produced an impressive display to secure a crucial 2-1 victory against Bermuda.

The hosts took the opening set against a strong Bermudan team 21-16 before being pegged back as Bermuda took the second 21-13.

The Channel Island pair proved too good in the deciding set though as they comfortable won 15-4 to pick up their second victory of the group stage.

Jersey's Anna Rowsell told ITV News after the match that she was pleased with the improvements she saw from yesterday's performances.

Tennis: Guernsey beat Jersey to win gold in women's team final

Guernsey's Joanna Dyer and Ella Taylor beat Jersey in the final of the women's team contest to pick up the Sarnians second gold medal of the NatWest Island Games 2015.

Taylor beat Jersey's Natasha Forrest 6-2, 6-2 in the opening rubber to give Guernsey an early lead.

But the hosts Eva Hurst beat Dyer 6-2, 6-4 to level things up and take the match into a deciding doubles rubber.

It was Guernsey that pulled through in straight sets, Dyer and Taylor beating Clare Clarke and Rebecca Edwards 6-1, 6-4 to clinch a spot at the top of the podium.

Shooting: Gold for Jersey, silver for Guernsey in 25m pistol

The Jersey duo of Nikki Holmes and Mary Norman won gold once again as they claimed victory in the women's 25m team sport pistol.

It was a repeat result of yesterday's women's 10m team air pistol with the Guernsey pair of Nikki Trebert and Rebecca Margetts also picking up silver for a second time.

Tennis: Jersey into men's team final

Jersey men's tennis team have made it through to the final of the team event after beating Aland 2-0.

Scott Clayton and Stuart Parker both won their singles rubbers and that was enough to see the Caesareans through.

In the other semi-final Guernsey are currently into a deciding final rubber against the Isle of Man.

That means that in tonight's final it could be a huge Jersey v Guernsey clash at the Caesarean Tennis Club.
