Driver, 33, taken to hospital after car crashes outside Jersey police station

A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed outside Jersey's police station.

The grey Skoda collided with the bollards outside the force's headquarters on La Route du Fort in St Helier just after 3pm on Thursday 26 January.

The driver was taken to hospital in an ambulance to be treated.

A Police spokesperson told ITV News the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

The road remained open throughout the incident. Officers' inquiries are continuing.
