One of Guernsey's most unusual bunkers opens to islanders for the day

One of Guernsey's most unusual bunkers has been opened up for the day to visitors (Saturday 18 June).

Fort Hommet, near Vazon, was built during the Second World War but was transformed by a local man into a place of tranquility. Hubert Le Galloudec used nearly a million seashells to depict scenes from the Bible and create a miniature chapel.
