Guernsey Airport runway reopens after incident forced closure
The runway at Guernsey Airport has reopened after being shut due to an incident.
A private light aircraft had a tyre burst on landing and the runway was closed just after 9am on Wednesday 1 September.
Everyone on board the flight was unhurt, but the runway was shut for around 30 minutes to allow the aircraft to be recovered.
It reopened at 9:49am and normal flights operations have now resumed.
