Warning about 'highly contagious' bug affecting dogs' breathing

A "highly contagious" respiratory illness that affects dogs is currently spreading across Jersey.

New Era Veterinary Hospital said the bug causes dogs to cough, sneeze, reverse sneeze or suffer with nasal discharge.

The vets said it is "highly contagious" and if owners suspect their dog has it, they should keep them away from other dogs.

Owners should make their vet aware if they have an appointment.
