Deputy Gregory Guida has been appointed as Jersey's new Home Affairs Minister.

He was put forward by the Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré.

Deputy Guida, who was elected as Deputy of St. Lawrence in June 2018, currently serves as the Assistant Minister for Home Affairs, as well as the Assistant Minister for the Environment.

The role was left vacant after Constable Len Norman passed away earlier this month.
