Woman appears in court after drugs worth £17,500 seized at Jersey Airport

A woman has appeared at Jersey's Magistrate's Court charged with importing cannabis and cocaine worth £17,500.

Officers from Jersey Customs and Immigration and the States of Jersey Police seized the haul at Jersey Airport in a joint operation on Saturday 8 August.

45-year-old Kelly Robertson from Birkenhead was remanded in custody following the hearing.

Three people, who were also arrested in connection with the offence, have been released pending further investigations.
