France 'likely' to be re-categorised in next few days if coronavirus cases continue to rise
Travellers returning from France to Jersey may soon have to isolate when they return. The government says the country will be re-categorised if cases of coronavirus there continue to rise. At the moment it is a 'green' country, meaning anyone arriving from there does not need to quarantine.
For destinations categorised as amber, inbound passengers must take a test on arrival into Jersey and self isolate until day five, when they will have to take another test. If this returns a negative result, they will be able to leave self-isolation.
For destinations categorised as red, inbound passengers must take a test on arrival into Jersey and self isolate for 14 days.
