Faultless Farmers clinch Jersey T20 Premier League title
Farmers produced a dominant display to beat Old Victorians by eight wickets and retain their T20 Premier League crown.
OVs had earlier seen off St Ouen Springfield in the first of two games on finals day, but could not repeat the trick against the hosts at Farmers Field.
Harrison Carlyon took three wickets, including the prize scalp of island star Jonty Jenner, as OVs limped to 108-7 from their 20 overs.
Man-of-the-match Zak Tribe then made an unbeaten 48 as Farmers made light work of chasing the modest total.

Farmers had topped the table in the round robin stage and finish the tournament with a perfect record of seven wins from seven.
Cricket made its post-lockdown return in Jersey in June, with the shortened T20 competition still played with some social distancing and hygiene measures in place.

Attention now turns to the island's Premier 40 competition, which begins this weekend and finishes on 19 September.
Farmers face OVs again in the first of six rounds of fixtures, with Walkovers taking on St Ouen Springfield in Saturday's other game.
