Tributes to Oscar winner and 'daughter of Guernsey' Olivia de Havilland, who's died at 104
Local tributes have been paid to Hollywood legend Olivia de Havilland, who has died at the age of 104.
One of the biggest stars during the Golden-age of cinema, de Havilland won two Oscars, and starred in blockbusters of the time such as Gone With The Wind.
She had family links to Guernsey - her great, great Grandfather Sir Peter de Havilland was the island's Bailiff in the early 19th century.
In 1966, she came to the island for a re-enactment of the ancient Guernsey tradition called 'La Chevauchee'.
