Jersey to remain in level two of lockdown exit until early August
Jersey will remain in level two of its lockdown exit plan until early August, the Council of Ministers has announced.
The decision follows a recommendation by the Scientific and Technical Advisory Cell (STAC), which provides expert advice on Covid-19 to the government.
STAC will meet on 3 August to advise a move into level one, as long as the number of coronavirus cases in the island remains low.
Level one is the final stage of Jersey's Safe Exit Framework, and has often been referred to as the 'new normal'. This will remain in place until the pandemic is over.
