First air bridge flight between Guernsey and Isle of Man
The first flights between Guernsey and the Isle of Man since the two jurisdictions agreed to set up an 'air bridge' take off today (22 July).
The Aurigny operated services will run until at least mid-September.
Both governments agreed to form the travel agreement last month, which allows people to fly without self isolating. Demand was so high that Aurigny doubled the number of flights with almost 4,000 seats being sold.
Like Guernsey, the Isle of Man is also fully open for islanders with no physical distancing measures in place.
The first flight will arrive in the Isle of Man shortly before 2pm, with it returning to Guernsey at around 4pm.
