Jersey Archive celebrates 20th anniversary
Jersey Archive is celebrating 20 years since it opened its buildings to the public. Since 2000 the team has collected and preserved hundreds of thousands of documents, some dating as far back as the 1300s. To mark the anniversary archivists are giving a number of online talks and a virtual tour of the new £3.5 million archive extension.
The Archive holds 790 cubic metres of records containing the stories of over 350,000 people who have lived in or are connected to the Island and its 50,000 houses, streets and places.
To register for any of the free talks, you can go to the 'Heritage at Home' hub on Jersey Heritage's website.
