Borders reopening: How Jersey Airport will ensure safe travel
The team at Jersey Airport have put together a video explaining the measures its put in place to ensure safe travel in and out of the island.
It comes as the government announced this morning (26 June) that the borders would reopen again on 3 July.
The decision to reopen borders is subject to a vote in the States Assembly next Tuesday.
Ports of Jersey says there are various things passengers should do to make their travel easier. These include:
Checking-in online where possible
Printing boarding passes before arrival at the airport
Contacting the airline at least 48 hours before travel if you require special assistance
Wearing a mask
Allowing plenty of time for the journey through the airport
Maintaining good hygiene practices
Following the one-way system and physical distancing measures
Staying together if travelling as a household
Limiting contact with other passengers
When collecting someone else from the airport, islanders are being asked to wait outside rather than entering the arrivals terminal.
