1,250 Jersey households to be tested for Covid-19
A further 250 households in Jersey are to be tested to see if they have already had coronavirus.
This takes the total number of households in the antibody testing programme to 1,250.
It will be the third study of a statistically robust sample of households to plot the spread of Covid-19.
It will take place from Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July at Springfield and Les Quennevais Sport centre
The Government says it hopes this data will help them understand how and when to lift lockdown measures in a ‘careful, phased and controlled’ way.
The test will be carried out with a finger-prick using a drop of blood. Results will be ready within ten minutes.
The results will be analysed by Statistics Jersey and a report will be published on Tuesday 7 July.
