Guernsey's Beau Sejour leisure centre will return to 'business as usual' from today (Monday 22 June).

Customers will be able to use all of the centre's facilities after staff have rearranged the layout of the gym over the weekend.

Beau Sejour was the first leisure centre in the British Isles to re-open to the public on Thursday 4 June with strict social distancing and operating guidelines in place.

Swimmers had to get changed by the poolside and a one-way system was implemented to maintain social distancing.

These measures have now been relaxed as the island moves into Phase Five of its lockdown exit strategy.

Members of the Beau Sejour Swim School will be contacted within the next week to confirm classes, as they will not restart immediately.

Fitness Classes, including spinning will continue to be held in the David Ferguson Hall until Monday 29 June.

Due to staffing challenges, Kiddy Kapers sessions and the Beau Sejour Holiday Club will not run for the immediate future.
