Attendance 'remarkably high' at Jersey primary schools on first day back

Primary schools in Jersey recorded a 93% attendance rate yesterday (8 June) for the first day back to school.

Nearly all primary schools had high attendance, with rates ranging from 70% to 100%.

Secondary schools who welcomed back year ten students for face-to-face learning also had a high attendance rate of 70% to 90%.

The Education Minister, Senator Tracey Vallois, says she is hoping to make an announcement about the next phase soon.
