LibertyBus school bus services to restart
School bus services run by LibertyBus in Jersey will restart on Monday 8 June.
The company will be offering a reduction in its normal service as pupils return to the classroom.
LibertyBus says it wants to reassure students that it is doing "everything possible" to keep them safe while using their services - including limiting the buses to 50% of their seating capacity.
The following routes will be running from Monday 8 June:
Les Quennevais - Students are asked to contact LibertyBus' customer service team on 828555 by 2pm the day before they wish to travel to arrange travel, as this will be a request only service. Requests to travel on a Monday must be made by 2pm on the Friday.
Grainville - Only two routes will be running. Routes 53 and 57 will be running as normal in the mornings and afternoons.
JCG, Beaulieu, Victoria College, De La Salle - Some routes have been combined, meaning one bus will cover both.
LibertyBus recommends that all passengers on its services follow this advice:
Wear a mask or some sort of face covering
Keep windows open at all times to aid ventilation
Carry hand sanitiser to use on the bus
Wash their hands before and after traveling
Students are asked to make sure they top up their passes online or at the bus station on the Esplanade, as drivers will not be accepting cash.
