Eight school children from Guernsey will have their designs featured on a special set of stamps.

They are the winners of a Guernsey Post competition which asked them to create something that related to the pandemic in a positive way.

Earlier this month children from Guernsey, Sark and Herm submitted their designs - the winning entries are due to be released later this year following the approval of Her Majesty, The Queen.

The winners are:

  • Yr 1 - Kahlan Marriott, aged 5

  • Yr 2 - Olivia Le Tissier, aged 6

  • Yr 3 - Alexis Drummy, aged 8

  • Yr 4 - Danny King, aged 8

  • Yr 6 - Lily-Ella O'Brien, aged 10

  • Yr 7 - Oliver Blake, aged 11

Over 200 designs were submitted and judged by Guernsey's Arts Commissioner and managing director of The Potting Shed, Tom Langford - and Al Mitchell, The Potting Shed's executive creative director.
