Jersey not included on destination list for resumed EasyJet flights
EasyJet has not included Jersey on a list of destinations that it will resume flights to from next month.
The company is planning to restart flights on 15 June for mainly domestic routes between 21 European airports. In the UK, these include Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Belfast.
However, even if the island was included on the list, the Ports of Jersey says that passengers would still need to self isolate for 14 days upon arrival, until the government says otherwise.
The company says that passengers and crew will be required to wear masks on board aircraft.
Those looking to travel to Jersey can still book flights to the island, however there remains the risk that bookings are cancelled.
The airline says customers can book flights for alternate dates or claim a travel voucher instead if this is the case.
