Broad Street in St Helier will be temporarily closed so that pedestrians can have more space to social distance when in town.

From 11am on Saturday 23 May, vehicles will not be able to use the road.

The bus stop will be suspended, and routes five and 19 will be diverted until further notice.

Delivery vehicles will only be allowed between 7am and 11am, and businesses have been asked to rearrange their deliveries to fit those times.

The disabled parking bays outside of the Blue Note Bar will be suspended, and will be replaced with other bays.

Cyclists will still be able to use Broad Street.
