Channel Islanders have celebrated Liberation Day in spite of the coronavirus lockdown cancelling the outdoor plans.
On this day, 75 years ago, British troops arrived on island shores to free the people of Jersey and Guernsey, after five years of occupation by German forces.
Here's some of the highlights from today...
Bob Elcock is the Drum Major for the Band of the Island of Jersey.
He would normally be leading the parade to Liberation Square, along with the rest of the band, but due to coronavirus restrictions he decided to do it from his own street.
The Union Flag was raised above the Pomme d'Or Hotel in Jersey for Liberation Day.
It marks the moment the island was liberated from Nazi Occupation, and British soldiers climbed up the balcony in Liberation Square to hoist the flag.
Volunteers have been delivering afternoon tea parcels to the elderly in St Saviour as a sweet treat to enjoy this Liberation Day.
Soraya Maguire from The Wandering Tea Company, normally sells her baked goods at the marquee in Liberation Square on 9 May, but this year, due to coronavirus lockdown restrictions, she has decided to deliver scones with jam and cream to some of the elderly people in her parish.
