People who have booked holidays are concerned they will not get their money back, despite the trip being cancelled.
Daniel Perrier from Jersey spent thousands of pounds on a family trip to Florida, where he was due to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom with his wife and two children.
It is a holiday that was cancelled by the travel company, TUI, after countries shut their borders.
But despite the holiday being cancelled Daniel is struggling to get a full refund from the travel provider, after he was told he is not entitled to one because he booked through a third party booking agency.
On the advice of trading standards he is now raising a travel insurance claim for a holiday that was never provided.
Carl Walker from Jersey's Consumer Council is urging Islanders to 'hold their nerve' and wait for the full refund they are legally entitled too before accepting a credit note or voucher.
