Stay at Home order in Jersey partially relaxed
Stay at Home measures in Jersey are going to be partially relaxed from 2 May - including allowing people to spend up to four hours outside of their homes.
The changes do not lift the lockdown order, but are designed to help islanders well being.
The following changes will come into effect from Saturday 2 May:
An increase in the time allowed outside the home from two to four hours per day
Time can be spent outside the home for any outdoor activity, not just for exercise (necessary shopping, medical needs and providing care also remain valid reasons)
Time can be spent outdoors with members of your own household plus up to two people you do not live with, as long as you keep a distance of two metres
Those over the age of 65 or with certain health conditions are still required to stay at home.
