Guernsey FC and Jersey Bulls do battle on global scale to help Covid-19 appeals
Jersey Bulls and Guernsey FC have joined forces to raise money for their islands' respective Covid-19 appeals by pitting the Bailiwicks against each other in a race 'around the world'.
Islanders have from Saturday 25 April to Sunday 17 May to contribute to the 'Around the World Challenge', by walking or running up to 5km a day to help get their island to the overall target of 40,075km first.
The two clubs are also asking those taking part to donate £1 for each kilometre they complete to the Covid-19 Community Charity Appeal in Guernsey or the Bailiff Covid fund in Jersey.
Jersey Bulls and Guernsey FC have both seen their recent campaigns scrapped following the suspension of football because of coronavirus.
