‘Spike in arrests’ as two people arrested for assaulting police in Guernsey
Two arrests have been made for assaults on Guernsey police officers over the weekend.
The police say they have seen lower than usual demand over the past few weekends, as people have been in lockdown but this weekend, they reported a 'spike'.
Over 24 hours, 11 arrests were made.
The force has said that this is in line with a non-lockdown weekend.
The weekend also saw a number of people reported for breaking lockdown rules, including some people who were warned for visiting other peoples houses.
