Nightingale hospital builders cheered before they fly home
A team of builders who erected the temporary Nightingale Hospital in Jersey have been cheered before they fly home.
The builders, from the Netherlands, had been called in to help construct the multi-million pound Nightingale hospital. They are now leaving after just over one week on the site.
The emergency temporary hospital has been built to cope with the potential number of Covid-19 patients.
Now the outer shell of the hospital has been complete work has started on fitting out the building. The Government hopes to have it ready by the first week of May.

Nightingale hospitals are designed so fewer nurses can oversee more beds.
The hospital is expected to be on site for at least four months. Once the pandemic is over, it will be dismantled and the Millbrook Playing Fields returned to how it was.
The new site willbe able to accommodate up to 180 patients.
