Jersey's Chief Minister urges people to stay at home in new video
Jersey's Chief Minister has published a new video summarising the work his government has carried out this week to tackle the coronavirus crisis.
In the recording, Senator John Le Fondré promises to release more information on the number of cases of Covid-19 in the community as well as several other issues including:
Changes to the way coronavirus deaths are recorded
A progress update on work to build the island's new Nightingale Hospital
The latest figures on how many people are being treated for Covid-19 in hospital and the spare capacity for treatment available
A look at how Jersey's infection curve is looking
Following criticism earlier this week of the communications strategy adopted by himself, the Chief Minister also announces that from next week there will be more opportunities for members of the media to scrutinise the decisions taking by his government.
