Blue Islands to continue essential flights to Jersey throughout pandemic
Jersey's government has done a deal with Blue Islands to maintain lifeline links between the island and the UK throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The government is spending £15,000 per week subsidising three lifeline journeys to and from Southampton.
These will be for essential workers, or those needing travel on medical, repatriation or compassionate grounds.
Passengers wishing to book will be asked to provide information about the reason for their journey on Blue Islands' website.
They will then be given a unique code allowing them to complete their booking if they qualify.
A ticket price of £100 will be charged per flight.
