A campaign to protect children during the coronaviruslockdown has started in Jersey in response to concerns that extra time at home could heighten tensions for some families and may lead to increased domestic abuse.
With the emphasis on staying home and staying safe, for some households that message can be a contradiction.
Two weeks into the lockdown there has already been a 30% increase in reported domestic abuse in Jersey.
The new See it, Hear it, Report it campaign has been started jointly by the Departments for Children, Education and Home Affairs with the support of the States of Jersey Police.
It is encouraging people to be the "eyes and ears" in the community, and report any concerns regarding safeguarding.
In France, which has also seen around a 30% increase in reported domestic abuse, a code word has been introduced for victims to use in pharmacies as a way of attracting attention and getting help.
Anyone with concerns can raise them in several ways:
Call the Children and Families Hub on 01534 519000
Call States of Jersey Police on 01534 612612
If you hear something that sounds like an emergency call 999
