Polish government offers repatriation flights to people in Jersey

Polish citizens in Jersey are being offered repatriation flights amidst the coronavirus crisis.

The UK Polish embassy alongside the Government of Jersey have worked together to provide flights home to the thousands of Polish citizens in the island.

The flights will be carried out by the Polish airline, LOT.

Flights will take people directly from Jersey Airport to Warsaw.

The last census, taken in 2011, shows over 3,000 Jersey residents were born in Poland.
