130 laps in four hours, 21 minutes - Guernsey runner completes 'garden marathon'
A runner from Guernsey who should have been competing in the island's marathon at the weekend, completed it at home instead.
Graham Merfield racked up around 130 laps of his garden to cover the distance, finishing in a time of four hours and 21 minutes.
He had been planning to use the Guernsey Marathon as part of his training for an ultra event later this year, but the race was put back to October because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Merfield used the challenge to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières UKand has collected more than £2,000 in donations.
