Guernsey Police: 'We're grateful to everyone for listening to the message and staying home'

Guernsey's police force says it is grateful that people are following the island's lockdown rules and staying at home.

Today was the first day under these new conditions, which involves gatherings of two or more people being stopped, and all non-essential shops and community spaces closing.

While out patrolling today, police have commented on how quiet the streets were - which is exactly what they want to see.
