Sports centres and museums closed
Sports centres and museums across the Channel Islands are now closed, until further notice.
It was announced this morning in Jersey that all indoor leisure and sports facilities, including gyms and swimming pools were to shut and in Guernsey Beau Sejour Leisure Centre is also closed.
Beau Sejour closed initially on Sunday and Monday and the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture has now extended the closure for the foreseeable future.
Both islands' governments say the decisions were made on advice from public health officials in response to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
Museums and galleries have also closed in Jersey and Candie Museum has shut in Guernsey.
Castle Cornet, Fort Grey and the German Naval Signals Head Quarters, which had their opening days postponed, are now closed until further notice.
