Condor to bring passengers home from St Malo, and then suspend sailings

Condor is to bring Islanders home from St Malo following the announcement that French borders will close due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The ferry company will operate sailings from St Malo to Jersey and Guernsey on Thursday 19 March and Sunday 22 March to repatriate Channel Islanders and French residents.

Passengers who wish to travel between the UK and the Islands will be offered a sailing on either Thursday March 19 or Monday 23 March.

Sailings between France and the islands and the UK and the islands will then be suspended from 24 March to Thursday 2 April. The company hopes to resume sailings at the start of the Easter Holidays.

Condor’s reservations teams are notifying passengers of the changes and amending bookings as appropriate

Freight-only services from Portsmouth to the Islands and from St Malo remain unaffected by the changes.
