Sark Electricity Holdings Ltd has been sold to Witney Price.
The company has been run by the Gordon-Brown Family for 50 years but following the death of the Managing Director David Gordon-Brown earlier this year the future of the company has been uncertain.
Alan Jackson from the Guernsey based company Witney Price will now run the business.
He was the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Sark but resigned in 2015.
He has worked at Witney Price as Managing Director since 2019.
For the last two years of his life, the Sark Electricity director made headlines with his ongoing dispute with the Chief Pleas for increasing the cost of electricity on the island to as high as 85 pence per unit.
