Jersey doctors and nurses could be brought out of retirement to help with Coronavirus
Retired doctors and nurses in Jersey could be asked to return to work to help with any Coronavirus outbreak.
It is an option that has already been put on the table in the UK, but now the Managing Director of Jersey's General Hospital says the Channel Islands could follow suit.
In an interview with ITV Channel TV's Clare Burton, he was asked: "In the UK they're talking about bringing back retired doctors and nurses - is that an option here as well?"

So far, 168 people have been tested for the virus in the Channel Islands - 84 in Jersey, and 84 in Guernsey. Only one has tested positive.
Over in the UK, more than 23,000 people have been tested, with 280 positive results.
