Blue Islands and Aurigny take over Flybe's former routes
Two Channel Island airlines are putting on additional services, to cover the hole left after Flybe's collapse yesterday.
Blue Islands is running flights to Exeter and Birmingham for a second day, to help passengers caught up in the Flybe collapse.
The airline have stepped in to honour existing Flybe bookings.
Aurigny have also said it will start permanent flights on those routes from Guernsey, next week.
Auringy's first new service to Birmingham will operate on Wednesday 11th March and the new Exeter service on Thursday 12th March.
The airline claims Guernsey links will be further improved as 'these will now be direct services with no need to stop either way in Jersey'.
The Aurigny services can be booked from tomorrow and could be expanded if the Coronavirus situation changes and demand warrants it, but at present are planned to be:
Birmingham: A direct return service in the late morning - 1 x Daily (initially excluding Tues and Thurs)
Exeter: A direct return service 1 x daily (initially excluding Tues, Wed, Sat).
