Islanders told to not visit the doctor if they think they have coronavirus
Islanders in Jersey should not visit their GP surgery if they think they have coronavirus.
That is the message from the head of Jersey's Primary Care Body.
Dr Nigel Minihane says instead of visiting their GP, people should self-isolate at home.
It comes after a woman visited the Castle Quay Medical Practice yesterday with flu-like symptoms after a trip to Milan in Northern Italy.
The woman has since tested negative for the virus.
Here is the latest advice from Jersey's government on what you should do if you have visited any of the areas affected by the virus.
