Results of Coronavirus tests in Guernsey face delays
The results of tests to determine if three people in Guernsey have contracted Coronavirus have been delayed.
The States says that increased demand on UK laboratories has meant that the waiting time for the outcome has increased beyond 48 hours.
This, alongside delays to getting samples off the island due to recent bad weather, has led to the delay.
However, the States insist this delay is not an indication that the results of the tests have come back positive.
Guernsey's government website is updated daily with information on the outcomes of other tests and the number of samples that are awaiting results.
