Former JSPCA boss sentenced to 7 years in jail for fraud

The former boss of the JSPCA has been sentenced to seven years behind bars after defrauding the charity out of £400,000.

Coleman, who was Chief Officer of the charity for eleven years, pleaded guilty to 15 counts of fraud, two counts of forgery and two counts of uttering forged documents last November.

Police say that over ten years he took £300,000 of the charity’s income for himself.
