New bicycle parking in Jersey officially opens
Cyclists in Jersey can now park their bikes in a new facility in Sand Street car park.
The storage space provides covered and secure bicycle parking in Jersey's town centre.
The facility is part of the government's Sustainable Transport Policy which aims to get people out of their cars.
People can find out more about the policy, along with the Carbon Neutral Strategy, this evening at 5:30pm at the Town Hall.
The briefings will last for an hour and are free to attend. They will be hosted by Government officers who have drafted the strategies.

The Facebook group Cycle 4 Jersey is encouraging people to use the facilities to show their support.
The Carbon Neutral Strategy is Jersey Government's way to support the States Assembly plan to be carbon neutral by 2030.
