Jersey's Le Hocq Tower opens for World Wetlands Day
Le Hocq Tower in Jersey has opened its doors to celebrate World Wetlands Day.
The tower, which is situated in St Clement, sits in one of four Ramsar sites in Jersey.
To show just how important Jersey's marine environment is, it is open to the public today on World Wetlands Day, which seeks to remind people how vital areas like marshes, ponds and swamps are to the natural world.
The tower overlooks the South East Coast of Jersey, which is one of the largest internal reef sites in Europe.
It was designated as a wetland of international importance almost 20 years ago.
